In heavy industries such as mining, building materials, and metallurgy, the processing of any large material almost always begins with a deep, powerful rumble—this sound often comes from the "steel behemoth" at the very front of the production line: the jaw crusher. As one of the oldest, most robust, and most widely used crushing equipment, the jaw crusher, with its simple and reliable working principle and powerful processing capacity, has become an indispensable piece of equipment in modern industrial crushing processes.

The main structure includes:
**Frame:** The skeleton of the equipment, bearing enormous crushing forces, typically made of high-strength cast steel.

**Moving Jaw and Fixed Jaw:** The moving jaw is the core moving component, equipped with replaceable jaw plates (wear-resistant parts); the fixed jaw is fixed to the front of the frame. The working surfaces of both jaw plates are usually designed with a toothed shape to enhance the crushing effect.

**Eccentric Shaft:** The heart of the equipment, driven by a motor to rotate, converting circular motion into the reciprocating oscillation of the moving jaw.

**Adjustment Device:** Used to adjust the size of the discharge opening, thereby controlling the particle size of the crushed product.

Tensioning device: Includes springs and tie rods, ensuring a tight connection between the moving jaw and the frame, and providing overload protection.

Its operation is simple and efficient: The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate, causing the moving jaw to periodically approach and move away from the fixed jaw. When the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw, the material between the two jaw plates is crushed by enormous compressive and bending forces; when the moving jaw moves away, the material, crushed to a size smaller than the discharge opening, is automatically discharged under gravity, completing one work cycle. This "one-time crushing of one particle size" method, though seemingly simple, is extremely powerful.
